- basicDistrict: A basic district \(peruspiiri\), 34 of them \(statistics only\).
- city: The whole city \(statistics only\).
- cityPart: The inner city \(kantakaupunki\) or the suburbs \(esikaupungit\) \(statistics only\).
- district: A district \(kaupunginosa\), 60 of them.
- fareZone: An HSL fare zone \(A, B, C or D\), the area a ticket is valid in.
- majorDistrict: A major district \(suurpiiri\), 8 of them \(statistics only\).
- preschoolAdmissionArea: A preschool admission area \(esiopetusalue\) of one school year, Finnish- or Swedish-language, about 70 a year.
- quarter: A quarter \(kortteli\), the block a detailed plan names, about 6,000 of them.
- subDistrict: A sub-district \(osa-alue\), the unit the city's statistics use.
- votingDistrict: A voting district \(äänestysalue\), about 165 of them.
