- OTHER\_CAUSE: A cause GTFS-RT has no value for.
- POLICE\_ACTIVITY: A police operation on the way.
- STRIKE: Staff are on strike.
- TECHNICAL\_PROBLEM: A vehicle or the infrastructure failed.
- UNKNOWN\_CAUSE: The publisher does not know the cause.
- WEATHER: The weather affects the service.

## AlertEffect (enum)

What a public transport alert does to the service, GTFS-RT's Effect values as HSL publishes them.

- ACCESSIBILITY\_ISSUE: A step-free route or a lift is out of use.
- ADDITIONAL\_SERVICE: Extra departures run.
- DETOUR: The service runs on another route.
- MODIFIED\_SERVICE: The timetable or the stops differ from the usual.
- NO\_EFFECT: The alert informs and the service does not change.
- NO\_SERVICE: The service does not run.
- OTHER\_EFFECT: An effect GTFS-RT has no value for.
- REDUCED\_SERVICE: The service runs with fewer departures.
- SIGNIFICANT\_DELAYS: The service runs with long delays.
- STOP\_MOVED: A stop has moved.
- UNKNOWN\_EFFECT: The publisher does not know the effect.

How much a public transport alert matters, the Smart Data Models values HSL's three GTFS-RT levels map to.

- high: A severe disruption \(GTFS-RT SEVERE\).
